Mandy has been appointed General Manager at Optimal Workforce and is a highly experienced Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Specialist with over 20 years’ experience across Healthcare, Corporate, and Industrial recruitment. With strong expertise in workforce planning and employer branding, she partners with clients to deliver strategic, long-term hiring solutions.
Mandy returned to Optimal after living and working abroad with Ireland’s largest private hospital, where she recruited across multidisciplinary healthcare teams. This international experience strengthened her strategic approach to talent acquisition and broadened her understanding of complex workforce needs. Locally, Mandy spent over 12 years recruiting on the Northern Beaches with Exact Recruitment Services and Zoom Recruitment, specialising in the Blue-Collar sector. This experience has given her a deep understanding of the local talent market, workforce challenges, and the businesses operating across the region.
A proven 360° Talent Acquisition Specialist and Account Manager, Mandy works with both large national organisations and SMEs to successfully fill temporary and permanent roles. During this time, Kate’s role included coordinating and leading the delivery and contract management of employment-focused training programs funded by the Commonwealth Dept of Education and Training, and the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.
Having lived, worked and recruited on the Beaches, Kate has an acute awareness of the specific challenges faced by companies on the Northern Beaches when trying to secure quality candidates, but as a solution focused consultant, she also has the knowledge and experience to proactively explore new avenues and find amazing candidates.
